Meet the Development Team
Director of Development
Deirdre comes to De La Salle from Friends Seminary where she was the Director of Annual Giving. Prior to Friends, Deirdre was Director of Annual Giving and Alumnae Relations at her alma mater, School of the Holy Child in Rye, New York. A former human rights lawyer, she has worked in the development/advancement field since 2013. Deirdre holds her B.A. from the University of Albany, J.D. from the City University of New York Law School and her LL.M from the Irish Centre for Human Rights, National University of Ireland, Galway. She served for six years on the Board of Trustees at the Cornelia Connelly Center, a middle school (grades 4-8) empowering girls at risk to reach their full potential.
Associate Director of Development
Emma is excited to join the De La Salle community after three years working in development at The Brearley School. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Colgate University.
Aliya arrived at De La Salle after graduating from Smith College with a B.A. in American Studies. Holding a minor in Community Engagement & Social Change, Aliya dedicated her college years to the development/fundraising field, working in non-profits committed to advancing equity and social change for marginalized communities. She has worked with Providence House Inc. and West End Residences HDFC.
